Bioluminescence was rear projected into a storefront window at InLight 2017, 1708 Gallery, Richmond Virginia. Viewers got a sneak peak into an otherworldly ballet of abstract electric creatures glowing with psychedelic colors.
Inspired by the phenomenon of bioluminescence, a naturally occurring emission of light by a living organism, abstract creatures constructed from electric neon like lines morph, evolve and swim by synchronized to sound.

Bioluminescence is a visual music ballet of abstract biomorphic forms. The forms glow in the darkness inspired by the phenomenon of bioluminescence, a natural emission of light by living organisms. The illusion of movement is created by thousands of images drawn frame-by-frame. Sequencing and arranging the forms gives them life and vitality as if they were sentient beings reacting and synchronizing to sound.
